Abstract
This study aims to see Village Authority based on Origin Rights contained in Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, where village authority based on origin rights is regulated and administered by the village. Where here is seen from the Implementation of Village Authority based on the Right of Origin in the Preservation of Adat in Gunung Sahilan Village. With the technique of collecting data by interview, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Village Authority based on the Right of Origin in Adat Conservation in Gunung Sahilan Village, Gunung Sahilan District, Kampar Regency has not been going well. Where the Village Government has not implemented customary preservation in Gunung Sahilan Village, because there are no policies or activities aimed at Customary Preservation as stipulated in the APBDes and Village Regulations
