Abstract

This research aims to see what are the determining factors of profitability in Sharia banking in Indonesia. Financing to deposite ratio, operating cost of operating income, net operating margin, and current adequency ratio for the period 2015-2019. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis methods as an analysis tool. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling that is as many as 12 samples of the company. The result of financing to deposite ratio and net operating margin has no significant effect on return on asset and return on equity, while operating costs of operating income have a significant effect on return on asset and return on equity, and the result of current adequency ratio has no significant effect on return on asset but has a significant effect on return on equity. . It can be said that if the sharia commercial bank wants to have good performance and profitability, it is expected that sharia commercial banks can maximize the value of variables that affect it, such as the value of operational costs of operating income (BOPO) and current adequency ratio (CAR).
