Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the main and interaction on the treatment of bokashi corn litter and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth and production of mustard greens. This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Riau Islamic University Faculty of Agriculture, starting from August 2020 to October 2020. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was corn litter bokashi (B) which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely without bokashi, 500, 1000 and 1500 g / plot. Then the next factor is NPK 16:16:16 (N) which has the same treatment level as the previous factor, namely without NPK, 10, 20 and 30 g / plot. In order to obtain 16 treatment combinations, each treatment was repeated 3 times. So, there are 48 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 16 plants, and 2 plants were used as observation samples. Thus, the total sample plants were 96 out of 768 plants. This research consists of 5 observation parameters; periodic plant height, perfect leaf number, leaf width, root volume and economic fresh weight. The results of the study concluded that, the interaction of giving bokashi corn litter and NPK 16:16:16 significantly affected the parameters of plant height, leaf width, root volume and economic fresh weight. The best treatment for corn litter bokashi is 1500 g / plot, and at NPK 16:16:16 is 30 g / plot.
