Abstract

Resource development improves employee performance in achieving tasks by carrying out coaching and training activities. This aims to improve the ability of employees to achieve performance. Human Resource Development at the Regional Development Planning Agency of Riau Province aims to provide successful employee performance With the application of Resource Development, of course, it will have an impact on employee performance starting from work discipline, on time, to completion of work targets. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of apparatus resource development on the performance of the state civil apparatus at the Regional Development Planning Agency of Riau Province. The method used is a quantitative method, with a sample size of 50 respondents. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation, documentation with descriptive data analysis through a quantitative approach. This study concludes that based on the results of statistical tests it can be concluded that the variable resource development has a significant effect on employee performance with great results because Resource Development is needed so that employees work optimally in completing their performance on time. Resource Development aims to provide the knowledge and abilities of each employee in accordance with the duties and fields of each employee in achieving employee performance results.
