Abstract
The highway is one of the most important land transportation infrastructure. Jalan Meridan Lintas timur Km 1-Km 3 is a very busy lane at certain hours. The purpose of this study was to determine the axle load of vehicles passing the road and the daily traffic volume of vehicles passing through the rigid pavement of Jalan Meridan Lintas timur. This research was conducted by means of descriptive and analysis, the data used were primary data obtained from field surveys and secondary data obtained from related agencies using guidelines from Bina Marga Pd T-14-2003 (cement concrete pavement planning), Department of Settlement and Regional Infrastructure. This research was conducted for 4 days from 13 December 2019 - 16 December starting at 09:00 WIB for 24 hours. From the calculation of the vehicle axle load factor, the total ESAL value is 10283.5297 and the truck factor calculation results are 5.5406> 1, where the value shows that the condition of the damage is due to the load of vehicles passing on this road that has overloaded. And the CESA value for 20 years is 55,362,782.31, using the remaining life theory, the remaining life plan in 2019 is 90.48% and there is a reduction of 9.52%. In an effort to control the level of road damage due to overload (overload), field supervision is needed in order to adjust the load on heavy vehicles passing through Jalan Meridan Lintas timur.
