Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools in the form of a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) with a contextual teaching and learning (CTL)that has been tested for validity. The development of learning tools in this study used the R&D development method with Sugiyono's modified development model, namely: (1) Potential problems; (2) data collection; (3) Product design; (4) design validation; (5) Revision of design; (6) The final product. The research instruments used in this study were the RPP validation sheet and the LKPD validation sheet. This research was conducted from August 24, 2020 to October 29, 2020. This research was conducted at the Riau Islamic University (UIR) Campus, Faculty of Mathematics Education (2 lecturers as a validator) having its address at Jalan KH. Nasution, Pekanbaru City and at SMP (2 mathematics teachers as validators) having the address at Jalan Datuk M.Syafei rawang four Village, Kec. Bandar Petalangan, Pelalawan Regency, Riau. The data collection technique used is non-test techniques, namely in the form of a questionnaire (questionnaire). The analysis technique used is a descriptive analysis technique that describes the validity of the device being developed. This product trial was used in class VII SMP students. From the research results, the validity results of the development of lesson plan learning tools were 88.02% and the validity of the development of the LKPD learning tools was 87.89% with their validity tested. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that, the development of mathematics learning tools with Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach in Flat Building (Quadrillateral and Triangles) Class VII SMP Negeri 1 Bandar Petalangan has been tested for its validity and can be used properly.
