Abstract

Based on the results of observations by researchers in the field, it was found that there were those who were remedial, meaning that the scores obtained by students were not optimal, in other words, the KKM scores were not achieved. Other problems can also be seen from: There are still some students who do not do homework at home (PR), some parents do not know about the lessons of children at school, parents do not always ask about student activities at school, students tend to prefer to tell stories with their friends, There are still some students who do not pay attention to the teacher explaining the subject matter. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental guidance on Learning Outcomes of Class XI IPA Students in the Field of Islamic Religious Education at SMA Islam YLPI Pekanbaru. The method used by the author is the quantitative method of correlation. The population referred to in this study were the students of Class XI IPA SMA YLPI Pekanbaru, amounting to 54 students. The sampling technique used in this study was a saturated sample, namely the entire population was sampled as many as 54 students. Based on the analysis of data regarding the effect of parental guidance on the learning outcomes of PAI students at SMA Islam YLPI Pekanbaru which is processed through respondents' answers from a questionnaire of parental guidance on student learning outcomes at SMA Islam YLPI Pekanbaru, the following conclusions can be drawn: There is an effect of parental guidance on PAI learning outcomes of students at SMA Islam YLPI Pekanbaru have a significant positive correlation. The level of influence between the two variables is in the fairly high category, namely 0.637. While the coefficient of determination (R square) is 0.406, the contribution of the level of parental guidance to student learning outcomes is 40.6%, while the rest is determined by other variables not examined in this study.
