Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital and land area on maize farmers' income in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City on the grounds that this area is a potential area for agriculture, especially corn farming. The basis for sampling using the Slovin formula, it can be seen that the number of samples in this study was 68 corn farmers in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City. In analyzing the data, the writer uses quantitative analysis, which is analyzing using mathematical models and statistical models, and descriptive analysis, which discusses the data that has been collected and is connected to the actual situation, others in conjunction with existing theories. The results of this study show that capital and land area influence the income of corn farmers in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City, while labor does not affect the income of corn farmers in Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru City.
