Abstract

This study aims to determine the interest of students in participating in physical education learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Keritang. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a survey method. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire instrument and the data analysis technique used descriptive statistics with percentages. The population in this study amounted to 126 students and a sample of 31 students from class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Keritang using random sampling technique. The instrument in this study is a questionnaire that has been validated by experts and has been tested. Based on the results of the research, students' interest in taking physical education lessons during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Keritang was categorized as very high, 3 students or 0.10%, 7 students or 0.23% high, 12 students or 0.39%, low 7 students or 0.23%, very low 2 students or 0.06%. So it can be concluded that students' interest in taking physical education lessons during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Keritang showed that students' interest in taking physical education lessons during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Keritang was moderate with consideration of the frequency being in the medium category. 12 students or 0.39%.
