Abstract

his research is motivated by the existence of micro, small and medium enterprises in the city of Pekanbaru which are expected to help the community's economy. This study aims to analyze and explain the Implementation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Empowerment in the Field of Promotion, Business Development and Infrastructure of the Office of Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Pekanbaru City. Therefore, the government needs to empower Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, where every community or business actor has their own potential. The type of research located at the Department of Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises of Pekanbaru City is a combined research (quantitative and qualitative), which prioritizes a list of interviews and questionnaires as a data collection tool, and the data obtained are used as primary research data to analyze the research objectives in locations studied, while for secondary data collected by observation and documentation techniques. There are two groups of population and samples in this study, namely the department and the micro-enterprise community. The sample size is 2 people from the service and 49 people from the micro-enterprise community in the city of Pekanbaru. The sampling technique used is the saturated sample technique or the census technique and the purposive technique. Data analysis used is descriptive technique. The results of this study can be concluded that the Implementation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Empowerment in the Field of Promotion, Business Development and Infrastructure of the Office of Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Pekanbaru City is quite good. Because the average result of the answers to the questionnaire is 40.53% or with a fairly good category. Occurs due to the Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred until now which has made the agency able to carry out activities directly. Therefore, it is necessary to use online media such as providing coaching, training and conducting online promotion activities in various media.
