Abstract
The need for clean water in Indonesia is still not distributed evenly. Clean water is not distributed evenly due to obstacles and problems in the area. Tanjung Sawit Village, Kampar Regency is a village that has problems in distributing clean water. Based on observations in the village, there is already a clean water reservoir, but in the reservoir there is no clean water distribution system available to homes to meet the needs of the community public. Analyzing the problems and efforts to complete this research, using the literature study method used to obtain concepts in research by obtaining references from books containing theoretical foundations, as well as calculation formulas that can support this research and collecting secondary data, namely population data, raw water sources, clean water demand data, and water availability data obtained directly from parties related to this research, and also using data obtained from the EPANET 2.0 software. Based on the results of population growth from 2017-2021 in hamlets 3 and 4, an analysis of the next 10 calculations can be carried out and it is known that the population from 2022-2031 has increased, namely in 2031 it is estimated that 945 people. In 2031, the total need for clean water is obtained, with a debit of 1,189 l/sec. The results obtained are reservoir capacity, nodes, distance between nodes and elevation of each node based on google earth, all of these data are input data for running EPANET 2.0 software. The results of the pressure that do not meet the requirements with the gravity method, while using the pump method meet the requirements, and also the results of the velocity and headloos units. Then he got a picture of the clean water distribution network. The pipe diameters in the gravity method and the pump are 40 mm, 50 mm, and 75 mm in diameter.
