Abstract
This study aims to find out and analyze the role of the Civil Service Police Unit in Controlling Karaoke Entertainment Places in Pekanbaru City and also to find out what obstacles are faced in the role of the Civil Service Police Unit in Controlling Karaoke Entertainment Places in Pekanbaru City. The indicators used include Norms, Individuals, and Monitoring. This type of research, which is located in Pekanbaru City, is a qualitative descriptive research method. This research method is used to examine five informants and one key informant. Collecting data using observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation. The results showed that the role of the Civil Service Police Unit in Ordering Karaoke Entertainment Places in Pekanbaru City was quite good. The inhibiting factors are that the Satpol PP socialization has not been maximized to karaoke business managers, the Satpol PP is less strict in providing counseling and socialization to karaoke business managers, and the role of the civil service police unit is still lacking in supervising karaoke business places in Pekanbaru City.
