Abstract

Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport is one of the airports located in Pekanbaru. The problem that often arises is the number of activities that are increasing every day, causing the flow of vehicle arrivals to increase and especially when the vehicle leaves the airport for parking payments which causes the number of queues to increase which causes indirect impacts such as spending a lot of time and comfort. One of these efforts is to implement cashless parking or a non-cash payment system to optimize parking queues. Based on these problems, an analysis of the effectiveness of the use and minimum service standards (SPM) for the use of non-cash parking was carried out to overcome the current problems. This research method uses the Heizer and Render queuing model theory approach to analyze the effectiveness of the use of non-cash parking. This study can also determine the effectiveness of using non-cash parking using the effectiveness of service time with Minimum Service Standards (SPM) on smart gates. The results show that the maximum vehicle peak time on Saturday is an average of 279 cars/hour with an average service time of 8.74 seconds, the exit can accommodate a maximum of 412 cars/hour. On weekends it turns out to be more effective having an average actual time of 8.01 seconds and 100 percent time effectiveness is obtained so that on weekends it has a service time that meets the minimum service standard of transaction standard time on the smart gate system.
