Abstract

The Integrated Lecture Building (GKT) 1 of the Bengkalis State Polytechnic is planned to be 3 floors with an asymmetrical shape and functions as an administrative and laboratory building, with the condition of the Bengkalis area with a very small earthquake potential. Based on this, in GKT 1, an evaluation was carried out on the column structure with the assumption that in the Bengkalis area there was an increase in peak soil acceleration or (Peak Ground Acceleration, PGA) according to SNI 1726-2019. The purpose of its conduct is to find out whether the reliability of the planned column structure is stable from the influence of bending values in withstanding the maximum working axial load, due to an increase in the acceleration of the peak soil or (Peak Ground Acceleration, PGA). The method used is the normal distribution probability method (Gaussian), which can determine the reliability of the column structure in withstanding the maximum workload due to the increase in peak ground acceleration or (Peak Ground Acceleration, PGA) performed on GKT 1. With the structure of the column under review which is C27, which is the critical column with the maximum axial load (Pmaks) received. The results of the evaluation in the critical column C27, the maximum axial load of 109.044 tons produced a bending value of 95.0488 m?² with a reliability of 99.8% based on existing conditions in the field, while for a maximum axial load of 155,040 tons after it was assumed that peak ground acceleration (PGA) based on SNI 1726-2019 resulted in a bending value of 97.5715 m?² with a reliability of 91.9%.
