Abstract
This study examines the effect of students' perceptions on the results learn to write complex procedure texts for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Kuantan. The problem in this study is Is there a perception effect? students on the results of learning to write complex procedure texts for class VII junior high school students State 2 Teluk Kuantan. This study aims to describe, and analyze the data in detail and systematically, so that it can be obtained real picture of the effect of complex procedure text ability student learning outcomes of Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Kuantan. The theory used In this study using the theory proposed by Ministry of Education and Culture (2009) and Ekawati (2017). Learning Indonesian theory described relating to writing, the purpose of writing, types of writing, understanding of procedure text, structure of procedure text, and language of procedure text and understanding perception. Indonesian Language Learning in the 2013 Curriculum oriented to text-based learning. One of the competencies that achieved in the learning process Indonesian Curriculum 2013 Class VII is that students are able to produce complex procedure texts. In this research will analyze descriptive variable data from each research variable. This study aims to describe, and analyze data systematically detailed and systematic, so that a real picture can be obtained about the effect of complex procedure text ability on student learning outcomes Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Teluk Kuantan. The population used in this study are all students of class VII totaling 84 respondents. Sample used totaling 84 respondents. The method used in this research is correlational method. The approach used is a quantitative approach. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and test techniques. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the student's perception variable has tcount > ttable or 11,050 > 1,663 and significant < 0.05 or 0.000 < 0.05 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then it was concluded that students' perceptions significant effect on student learning outcomes of Class VII SMP Negeri 2 Kuantan Bay. The results of this study are supported by the results of Listiani's research (2014) which shows that there is a positive and significant influence on student perceptions on the results of learning to write by using the demonstration method.
