Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of internal control and procedures in providing credit to Village-Owned Enterprises Semilang Toko Pertanian Desa Pangkalan Baru, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Riau Regency, whether it is in accordance with the standard procedures of a good internal control system. This research method is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. The types of data collected in this study can be grouped in two parts, namely primary data and secondary data. In obtaining data, the thing that is done is to conduct direct interviews with employees related to this research. Documentation is to collect data contained in bumdes semilang toko pertanian regarding the provision of annual credit. From this research, it can be seen that the Semilang Toko Pertanian Village-Owned Enterprise has not implemented effective internal control. This can be seen from: The process in providing credit for bumdes Semilang Toko Pertanian has not met the complete requirements, the data submitted by the customer has not been proven valid and the monitoring carried out has not been optimal. BumDes has not been able to strengthen the credit return system.
