Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of internal communication on employee performance at Mutiara Merdeka Hotel. The population in this study were 82 employees. Sampling using the purposive sampling method where some of the population was sampled as many as 50 people. The types and sources of data are primary and secondary data, while the data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and interviews. Analysis of the data used in this study is a simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that internal communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at Mutiara Merdeka Hotel Pekanbaru. The level of relationship between the two variables is in the medium category, which means the ability of the independent variable to explain the dependent variable is good.
