Abstract

In its existence, the Limited Liability Company carries out its activities as a company in accordance with its field. In carrying out its activities which are in the interests of the company, a company often does not pay much attention to that they have a responsibility to stakeholders. Stakeholders here include employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, NGOs, or the government. Each of these stakeholders has different degrees and interests. One of the responsibilities of a Limited Liability Company is the responsibility to the community around the company. Very often this is ignored, or even done just to seek to have some responsibility for things. This responsibility is the responsibility to the stakeholders. This emphasizes the need to give balanced attention to the interests of various diverse stakeholders in every decision and action taken by business actors through socially responsible behavior. Based on the background of the problem that the authors describe above, the authors first determine how the regulation of corporate social responsibility in Indonesia and how the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) of PT. Toba Pulp Lestari in Parmaksian District. This writing, when viewed from the type of research, can be grouped into Sociological research conducted by survey, namely research directly to the research location using data collection tools in the form of interviews. Meanwhile, if viewed from its nature, this writing is descriptive, which means the research is intended to provide a detailed, clear and systematic description of the main research problems. The regulation of Corporate Social Responsibility in Indonesia is a concept that the Company has various forms of responsibility to all its stakeholders, which include consumers, employees, shareholders, communities and the environment in all aspects of the company's operations which include economic, social, and environmental aspects. . Therefore, CSR is closely related to "sustainable development", i.e. an organization, especially a company, in carrying out its activities must base its decisions not only based on its impact in economic aspects, such as the level of profits or dividends, but also must consider the social and environmental impacts that arise. of his decision, both for the short term and for the longer term.
