Abstract

Narcotics crimes have been transnational in nature, carried out using a high modus operandi and sophisticated technology, supported by an extensive network of organizations, and have caused many victims, especially among the nation's young generation which is very dangerous to the life of the community, nation and state while the existing laws and regulations is not in accordance with the development of the situation and conditions that develop to overcome and eradicate the crime. Advances in technology and information have become one of the factors causing the development of the expansion of narcotics mafa networks in the world to penetrate into Indonesia. Based on the above background, the formulation of the problems that will be answered in writing this thesis include: How is the Role of the Prosecutor as an Integrated Assessment Team in the Implementation of Rehabilitation Policies for Addicts and Victims of Narcotics Abuse in the Legal Area of the Batam District Attorney and What are the Obstacles and Obstacles for Prosecutors as an Assessment Team Integrated in the Implementation of Rehabilitation Policies for Addicts and Victims of Narcotics Abuse in the Legal Territory of the Batam District Attorney? This research when viewed from the type of research can be grouped into Sociological Law research, namely research obtained directly from the community or researching primary data, or by survey, namely research directly to the research location using data collection tools in the form of interviews. Meanwhile, if viewed from its nature, this writing is descriptive analytical, which means the research is intended to provide a detailed, clear and systematic description of the main research problems. From the results of the research and discussion, the role of the prosecutor as an integrated assessment team in implementing rehabilitation policies for addicts and victims of narcotics abuse in the jurisdiction of the Batam District Attorney's Office is that the prosecutor's role is as part of the Integrated Assessment Team in implementing rehabilitation policies for addicts and victims of abuse. narcotics drugs by providing recommendations based on the results of the assessment and analysis whether a person can be rehabilitated medically or socially or not is not only limited to addicts who report themselves, but addicts and victims of narcotics abuse whose cases are examined by law enforcement, namely those who are arrested, caught red-handed, suspects , defendants, convicts and convicts.
