Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to analyze and explain the effect of inherent supervision on employee work discipline at the Mandau sub-district office, Bengkalis district. The type of research used in this study is quantitative using an associative explanatory approach. The number of research respondents was 41 people with the sub-district head of Mandau as the key informant. The technique of collecting data is by using questionnaires and interviews and analysis using SPSS 22. The results of the research on Inherent Control can be seen that from the three indicators that the researcher has put forward, it can be concluded that inherent supervision is in the very influential category. While the work discipline of employees at the Mandau sub-district office can be seen that from the four indicators that researchers have put forward, the conclusion is very influential. Based on the normality test of the data using SPSS, the Influence of Inherent Supervision on Employee Work Discipline at the Mandau District Office, Bengkalis Regency, the Kolmogrov-Smirnov results concluded that the variables were normally distributed. The regression equation is a coefficient value indicating that every increase by inherent supervision, the employee's work discipline will increase. Based on the significant value from the Coefficients table, it can be concluded that the inherent supervision variable (X) has an effect on the employee discipline variable (Y). So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the inherent control variable (X) has a significant influence on employee work discipline (Y).
