Abstract

Bad loans or problem loans are loans that have difficulty paying off due to intentional factors or elements or due to conditions beyond the ability of the debtor. The main problem in this research is how to implement the restructuring of People's Business Credit (KUR) at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Dumai Branch in determining bad debts that deserve restructuring and how to resolve bad credit disputes at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Dumai Branch. The research method used is Sociological Legal Research by means of a survey, namely research that takes samples from one population using interviews and questionnaires as the main data collection tools, this research is descriptive analytical, namely providing a clear and detailed description of an event that occurs regarding credit settlement. problems with the restructuring of the People's Business Credit (KUR) at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Dumai branch. Based on the results of the study, it is known that, the implementation of the restructuring of People's Business Credit (KUR) at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Dumai Branch in determining bad debts that deserve restructuring of debtors is carried out 2 (two) times for debtors. In accordance with the procedures that have been determined based on the Decree of the Board of Directors of PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk regarding Credit Restructuring, namely both the first restructuring and the second restructuring, covering the stages of credit restructuring, namely credit restructuring initiatives, negotiating, analyzing and evaluating, restructuring decisions, restructuring documentation, monitoring. From this stage, the restructured material, namely changes in credit interest rates, there were 10 people, while rescheduling there were 1 person, and the takeover of debtor assets was 1 person. Of the 12 debtors that have been restructured, there is 1 person who is included in special attention (DPK), and 9 people are not smooth in payments (KL) and there are 2 people who are stuck in payments. And efforts to resolve bad credit disputes at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Dumai Branch is carried out by banking administration, namely
