Abstract

The development of the world of technology continues to move forward, as is the case with the Internet of Things (IoT). By creating a system that applies the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT). Today's use of electrical energy is less effective because many electronic equipment consumes electricity excessively. This is because users of electronic devices are less aware of the importance of electrical energy. Almost all electronic devices use electricity to work. One of the electronic equipment that consumes electrical energy is a lamp. The use of lighting in the house is expected to be in accordance with human needs so that there is no waste. Supported by current IoT technology, where a lot of devices are already integrated with computer systems or are computerized. This will help in many ways such as controlling the lights, i.e. turning the lights off and on, seeing how long the lights are used for and how to see the amount of charge for each lamp in the room via a smart-phone. The author specifically takes research on how to control home lights using a smartphone with an Internet Of Things (IoT) Based Home Lighting Control System.
