Abstract
Anime is a term known to be used to refer to Japanese style of animations. This type of animation has become a popular form of entertainment among people of all ages, especially among young people. The popularity of anime has led to the development of a fandom subculture that has a passion for this form of entertainment, often resulting in fanaticism behavior. This study aims to determine the description of fanaticism behavior among anime fans with a total of 88 subjects using quantitative descriptive research methods. The sampling technique in this study uses non-probability sampling, specifically saturated samples using a fanaticism likert scale as data collection technique with a total of 31 items. The results of this study showed that fanaticism behavior in anime fans fell into the high category with a percentage of 51.14%.
