Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out how the internal control over lending at KP-RI KARPEND Lintau Utara. The types and sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. This study uses descriptive analysis method, comparing the data and information obtained. Then, compare and analyze its suitability using existing theories. The discussion in this study is how KP-RI KARPEND Lintau Utara applies credit procedures to prospective customers and how KP-RI KARPEND Lintau Utara analyzes internal control of lending. In the research conducted, the results obtained indicate that, internal control over lending to KP-RI KARPEND Lintau Utara has not been effective as seen from inadequate recording procedures and documents, not monitoring when credit is disbursed, unhealthy practices.
