Abstract
Currently in the era of advances in information technology (IT) has grown rapidly, especially by using the internet network that can make it easier to communicate with other parties. Good internet quality can help and support infrastructure in processing data and exchanging information. However, there are several things that must be done to improve the quality of internet network services. QoS (Quality of Services) is a method to maintain the quality of internet services at the minimum specified limit. This study aims to analyze the two methods of QoS (Quality of Services) with the simple queue method and the queue tree method. In this study, only how to limit bandwidth, configuration, and choose the best QoS between the simple queue method and the queue tree. The results of the comparative analysis of the two QoS (Quality of Services) methods show that the simple queue method is more stable in bandwidth management than the queue tree method. So the simple queue method is more suitable to be applied to the PT. Nettour Pekanbaru as bandwidth management with the results of QoS . parameter analys.
