Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of students' learning difficulties in online-based biology learning at SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru. The population in this study were all students of class XI science which consisted of 4 classes. The sample in this study used proportionate statistical random sampling, with a sample size of 120 samples. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. This research instrument uses interviews, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The results of the study with the percentage of questionnaire data on the first indicator of technical constraints that affect signal and not ability in online learning with an average of 54.08% is very low. The second indicator of learning to divide it through interactions, assignments, teaching materials, and media in biology learning with an average of 65.97% in the sufficient category. And on the third indicator Stakeholders who help the government, schools and parents in learning biology with an average of 64.36% are in the sufficient category. So the overall average of the three indicators is 61.71%.
