Abstract
Smartphone addiction is a behavior of dependence on smartphones so that a person cannot control time. Self-regulation in learning is the individual directing himself in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Smartphone addiction and self-regulation in learning in junior high school students. The subjects of this study were 260 students and the sampling technique used was the proportionate stratified technique. The data analysis method used was the Spearman's Rank Order analysis test. The results of the hypothesis test with a value of r = -0.247 with a value of p = 0.000 (p <0.05) means that there is a significant negative relationship between smartphone addiction and self-regulation in learning in junior high school students. This means that there is a relationship which means that the higher self-regulation in learning, the lower smartphone addiction in junior high school students.
