Abstract
The Effect of Motives on Tourism Information Satisfaction followers of @Exploresiak Instagram Account Desi Ofiani 189110022 Each individual in using the media has different motives. This study aims to find out whether or not there is an influence between the motives of followers in accessing instagram accounts @exploresiak on the satisfaction of tourism information in Siak Regency. This research is a quantitative research using the theory of uses and gratifications with the concepts of gratifications sought and gratifications obtained. Data analysis techniques use simple linear regression tests, hypothesis tests and coefficient of determination tests. The results of this study show that there is an influence between motives on the satisfaction of tourism information for Instagram followers @exploresiak. This can be seen from the hypothesis test which obtained a result of 0.000 < 0.05 then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted and the magnitude of the influence between the motives of followers in accessing the exploresiak Instagram account on the satisfaction of tourism information in siak district was 61.7% while the remaining38.3% was influenced by other factors that were not studied.
