Abstract
This research was conducted to develop learning media and analysis of students' interest in learning mathematics towards Adobe Animate-assisted mathematics learning media for seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Kampar Kiri. The purpose of research on the development of learning media assisted by Adobe Animate is to determine the validity, practicality and interest of students in learning mathematics. The development model of this research uses the ADDIE model, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques using validation sheets and questionnaires. The results of the validation test from two mathematics education lecturers, FKIP UIR and one mathematics teacher at SMPN 2 Kampar Kiri, resulted in a percentage of 86.25% which was included in the very valid category. Learning media is stated to be included in the "strongly agree" category on the practicality level of the media based on the response questionnaire given to students with a percentage of 94.73%. The results of observing student activities in learning activities using Adobe Animate-assisted mathematics learning media showed an increase from the average percentage of the first and second observations of 21.05%. The percentage of learning interest questionnaires obtained is 83,63%.
