Abstract

This study aims to determine the interaction and main effect of liquid organic fertilizer of lamtoro leaf and rainbow NPK on the growth and production of purple eggplant. This research has been carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors, the first factor being the concentration of Lamtoro Leaf Liquid Organic Fertilizer, consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 50, 100 and 150 ml/L water. The second factor was NPK Pelangi, consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 3.125, 6.25 and 9.375 g/plant. So that there were 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications, 48 experimental units were obtained, each experiment (plot) of each plot consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants were used as observation samples with all experimental units consisting of 192 plants. The data were analyzed statistically and continued with the further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of lamtoro leaf POC application and rainbow NPK had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant and fruit weight per fruit, with the best combination treatment of 150 ml lamtoro leaf POC. /L of water and NPK rainbow 9.375 g/plant. The main effect of POC on lamtoro leaves was significant for all observation parameters, with the best treatment being 150 ml/L of water. The main effect of real rainbow NPK fertilizer on all observation parameters with the best treatment was 9,375 g/plant.
