Abstract
The aim of the study was to determine the interaction and main effect of matoa leaf bokashi and tsp on the growth and production of purple eggplant. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan. Kaharuddin Nasution No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was carried out for 4 months starting from December 2021 to March 2022. This study was a completely randomized design consisting of 2 factors, namely the first factor was giving Bokashi Leaf Matoa and the second factor was TSP fertilizer, each of which consisted of 4 levels of treatment. The first factor was the dose of Bokashi Daun Matoa (B) which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0, 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 kilograms per plot. The second factor is the dose of TSP (P) fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 2, 4 and 6 grams per plant. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the interaction of Bokashi Daun Matoa and TSP fertilizer on the growth and production of Purple Eggplant, to determine the main effect of Bokashi Daun Matoa and TSP fertilizer on the growth and production of Purple Eggplant, to determine the main effect of the dose of TSP fertilizer on growth and production. purple eggplant. The results showed that the interaction of Bokashi Matoa leaves and TSP fertilizer had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit length, number of remaining fruits. The best treatment was a combination of Bokashi Daun Matoa 4.5 kilograms per plot and 6 grams of TSP fertilizer per plant. The main effect of Bokashi Duan Matoa dose was significant on all observed parameters, the best treatment was a dose of 4.5 kilograms per plot. The main effect of TSP fertilizer was significant on all parameters. The best treatment was a TSP dose of 6 grams of the plant.
