Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Implementation of Street Vendor Governance by the Department of Trade and Industry of Siak Regency (Case Study in Tuah Serumpun Market). Assessment Indicators Planning, Implementing, Directing, and Monitoring. Quantitative and qualitative methods are complementary. The population and sample of this study amounted to 174 people. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The results showed that the Implementation of Street Vendor Governance by the Department of Trade and Industry of Siak Regency at the Tuah Serumpun Market was in the category of Good Enough assessment. The inhibiting factor is the narrow road space makes it difficult for street vendors to sell not only street vendors, visitors are also difficult to shop and jostle, no one wants to be the head of the organization making street vendors directed one by one and a lot of garbage scattered makes street vendors those who sell and visitors who shop feel less comfortable. It is better if the Trade and Industry Office of Siak Regency improves the facilities and infrastructure in the allied Tuah market, and pays more attention to street vendors.
