Abstract

This research discusses about Government Governance Village Under Management Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in Tanjung Medan Village Subdistrict District Cerenti Kuantan Singingi. BUMDes is a village business institution that is managed by the community and government village in effort strengthen economy village and formed based on needs and potency village. As wrong one institution economy which operate in rural, BUMDes must have difference with institution economy in general. This is intended so that the existence and performance of BUMDes capable give contribution which significant to enhancement well-being inhabitant village Through this research, the researcher describes the background of how the management of BUMDes in Tanjung Medan village is related to the 4 problematic BUMDes, namely the Tjm Mandiri Toserba Store (Toserba) which is no longer operating, Egg-laying Chicken which is no longer operating, Savings and Loan Cooperatives that are no longer operational. operating, and the independent TJM Futsal Center which has changed its management. This study uses qualitative methods and descriptive analysis with data collection techniques through literature studies sourced from several observations, interviews, studies documentation, and books. In this study, the researcher uses the governance theory of Siswanto with sub indicators Planning, Organizing, Directing, Motivating. The results of this study indicate that the management of BUMDes in Tanjung Medan village is still not good, the management of BUMDes in Tanjung Medan village is not running as expected to improve the village economy. As for what needs to be improved, it is hoped that the village government will always provide guidance to both the BUMDes director and its members.
