Abstract

This study was conducted to find out how to implement accountability and transparency in village financial management in the Pekan Tua Village administration, Kampas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency based on the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 20 of 2018 concerning village financial management. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study indicate that village financial management in Pekan Tua Village, Kampas District, Indragiri Hilir Regency is generally accountable at the planning, implementation, administration, reporting and accountability stages, but is not yet transparent because the village head has not submitted all accountability reports for the use of village funds to the community. related to the implementation of budget activities, reports on the realization of activities, activities that have not been carried out, the remaining budget and addresses of complaints. In addition, the APBDes report and the APBDes realization report have not been accessible tothe public because of the unavailability of a bulletin board as an intermediary media in conveying information regarding the APBDes report and the APBDes realization report.
