Abstract

Decreased production often occurs in oil and gas fields which will become a problem in exploration and production activities in oil wells. So that requires companies to be able to optimize the rate of oil production in oil and gas companies. Stimulation work in the Y area S field has carried out various types of stimulation including bullhead acidizing and regular cylic stimulation. On the stimulation work it is necessary to do an analysis to see the feasibility of the work to be carried out. To find out the economics of this stimulation work, it is possible to calculate and analyze economic indicators such as net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IIR) and pay out time (POT). The results of these calculations will be a reference whether or not the stimulation work is feasible or not. In this study, the economy is calculated using a gross split contract system. Based on the initial base split distribution for contractors of 43%, variable and progressive splits obtained for contractors of 73%. The next stage is to calculate the economic indicators of the stimulation work with bullhed acidizing investment of 510,749 US$M and regular cyclic stimulation investment of 24,800 US$M with oil price of 48.60 US$/bbl so that the result of calculating NPV@10% Bullhead Acidizing =5,864,406 US$ and Regular Cyclic Stimulation = 26,103,108 US$, IRR Bullhead Acidizing =921% and Regular Cyclic Stimulation =104974% , POT Bullhead Acidizing = 0.010 years and Regular Cyclic Stimulation = 0.0010 years. The sensitivity analysis on the Bullhead Acidizing and Regular Cyclic Stimulation work was carried out by changing the assumptions to 85% and 115%. For the value of the price of oil is a parameter that is very influential on the value of NPV then oil production, opex and investment. it can be concluded that the Bullhead Acidizing and Regular Cyclic Stimulation work is feasible because it has met the predetermined requirements.
