Abstract

Thrush is a health problem caused by an infection in the area of the oral cavity. In this advanced era, there are many external medicines that are specifically used as drugs to get rid of canker sores. One example is the external medicine albothyl product which is the answer for quick response to dealing with canker sores. Albhotyl products are all-purpose antiseptic drugs for preventing and treating mouth sores, bad breath, and hygiene of intimate organs and vaginal discharge quickly and effectively. Its main ingredient in the form of policresulen has broad spectrum anti-bacterial capabilities so it can kill bacteria especially in the vaginal area. The formulation of the problem which is the subject of the research results is: "How is the legal protection for users of the drug Albhotyl for withdrawing distribution permits based on Law number 36 of 2009 concerning health (Pekanbaru city study.)" What are the inhibiting factors for the implementation of legal protection for consumers albhoytyl drug users Based on Law Number 8 of 1999 Concerning Consumer Protection” This study uses the Sociological Legal Research Method (empirical) which is analytical descriptive in nature, while the data collection tools in this study are interviews and questionnaires. This research was conducted in Pekanbaru City. The respondents in this study were pharmacies, BBPOM Pekanbaru, and consumers. Based on the results of the research that the authors carried out, it was found that from the aspect that BPOM has supervisory duties after it is circulated and before it is circulated, from this aspect BPOM is still not optimal in monitoring drugs after they are circulated. From the consumer side, they are not careful and thorough before using drugs that are in circulation. , so they don't recognize the side effects of albhotyl which can unknowingly cause health harm to the consumer From the Pharmacy, it has the task of supervising drugs that will be sold to the public, as well as providing education from drug users.
