Abstract

Tenayan Raya District is an area that is used as a strategic area, namely the Tenayan Industrial Estate (KIT). In addition to being used as an industrial area, Tenayan District is also used as the center of the Pekanbaru City office area. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that influence land use change in the Mayor's Office area in Tenayan Raya District. The type of research used is research with quantitative and descriptive methods. The analysis technique used by the study is a likert scale analysis technique to find out what are the factors that affect changes in land use around based on the results of the questionnaire. The results of this study are, (1) Identification of land use changes in the mayor's office area seen from the population factor "increasing due to the high birth rate, accessibility factors are good with concrete roads equipped with drainage, from the factor of Completeness of Infrastructure and land carrying capacity with the presence of public facilities built such as road networks, electricity networks to water networks that are quite good. (2) Of the 5 variables that affect land use change in the Mayor's Office area in Tenayan Raya District, all variables studied are in the category of influencing, while the highest variable is the Population variable with an average yield of 68% and the lowest is the variable Carrying Capacity of land with an average yield of 54%.
