Abstract

As technology develops in the oil and gas world, one way to increase oil production is to use the Enhanched Oil Recovery (EOR) method using SurfactantPolymer (SP) inject variations in salinity values. Based on the research that has been done, it is found that surfactant-polymer injection is very influent tion. This research was conducted to see how big the effect of surfactant-polymer injection with variations in the parameters of salinity and Bottom Hole Pressure (BHP) and also to determine the effect of variations in salinity on the function of the surfactant-polymer. The research begins with modeling using carbonate rocks and fluid injection, namely alkybenzene sulfonate (ABS) for surfactants and for polymers using hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM). This simulation was carried out to determine the state of the reservoir, using the 2015 CMG STARS simulation and using the process wizard tools to input ial in increasing the recovery factor and the higher the salinity value, the lower the recovery factor, and the higher the BHP value, the more it can increase the recovery factor.
