Abstract

Data security has now become one of the main concerns in the development of various types of applications, especially regarding the global exchange of data and information. The application of a Digital Signature is deemed appropriate as authentication for a document, where this Digital Signature works as a marker on a document that ensures that the document is original and has never been questioned. The method of making digital signatures is to apply the SHA-1 and RSA algorithms which are considered sufficient to guarantee the sender and recipient of the digital documents sent. To provide a maximum protection method for the validity of a digital signature. The method of making digital signatures is to apply the SHA-1 and RSA algorithms which are considered sufficient to guarantee the sender and recipient of the digital documents sent. Applications based on the results of research that have been carried out the solution is to use a letter submission that uses a digital signature in the document. The digital signature used is the digital signature used using the RSA Algorithm. that has been built supports employees to apply for leave letters online and the Bappeda Office can get documents through applications using digital signatures that can prove the authenticity of documents.
