Abstract

On well X field X in PT. SPR Langgak experienced an increase in water cuts and experienced a decrease in the flow rate of production. These wells were produced at intervals of 1223' 1231', 1250 1258' and 1291' – 1294'. One of the ways that is done to increase the production flow rate in the well is to squeeze cementing and reforation. Some of the cementing squeeze methods include hesitate, high pressure squeeze, low pressure squeeze, brandenhead squeeze-no packer, retrievable squeeze packer-mobile packer and balance plug. Squeeze cementing at intervals of 1223' – 1231', 1250 – 1258' and 1291' – 1294' will be done squeeze cementing using the hesitate method. Squeeze cementing at intervals of 1223' – 1231', 1250 – 1258' and 1291' – 1294' will be done squeeze cementing using the hesitate method. The design of squeeze cementing and evaluation of cementing results using CBL – VDL logs on well X field X were carried out in this study. Based on the results of the study obtained the result that the amount of cement needed was 107 sacks. Based on the CBL –VDL log readings at all three intervals, readings were obtained in the form of amplitude values smaller than 30 mV which indicated good bonding of cement bonding. The CBL log shows a small amplitude reading stating that the cement bond is good and the energy spectrum reading on the VDL log shows a less clearly legible energy spectrum, so the identified channeling/microannulus is small. The increase in the value of the production flow rate after squeez cementing increased from the initial 64.56 bopd to an increase to 713.16 bopd, while the result of the water cut value decreased from 99.3% decreased to 99%.
