Abstract
This study aims to produce a mathematical learning tool in the form of a syllabus, lesson plan (RPP), and student worksheets (LKPD) through a contestual approach oriented to understanding mathematical concepts in the valid SPLDV material for class VIII students. In the development of this learning device using the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely the Analysis stage, the Design stage, the Development stage, the Implementation stage, and the Evaluation stage. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the ADDIE development model was only carried out in 3 stages, namely: Analysis (analysis), Design stage (design), Development stage (development). The data collection instruments used were syllabus, lesson plans, and LKPD validation sheets. The data collection technique used was a non-test technique in the form of a questionnaire validation sheet which was given to 4 validators, namely 2 lecturers of Mathematics Education FKIP UIR and 2 SMPs YPP TG Kasikan teachers. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. From the results of the study, the results of the LKPD validation were 89,68% with a valid validation level category. Based on this development research, the device was obtained through a contextual approach oriented to understanding mathematical concepts in the SPLDV material for class VIII students whose validity was tested.
