Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect exchange rate exposure and their impact on financial performance. This research uses data analysis structur equation model. The data used is secondary data, namely data derived from the annual financial statements of multinational companies listed (on the Indonesian stock exchange) during the 2015 - 2019 period. The companies that are the object of this research are 26 multinational companies. The results showed that size, export ratio, quick ratio, leverage and growth, size had a positive and significant effect on exchange rate exposure. Exchange rate exposure has a negative and significant effect on financial performance. Meanwhile, the export ratio, quick ratio, leverage and growth have no significant effect on exchange rate exposure. This is due to differences in the characteristics, culture and environment of multinational companies in Indonesia with multinational companies in other countries.
