Abstract

This research was conducted at the Manunggal Village Unit Cooperative in Bandar Padang Village, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The background of this research is the application of the Manunggal Village Unit Cooperative accounting process. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of accounting application at KUD Manunggal with generally accepted accounting principles. The research design used is descriptive qualitative means a study that explains or analyzes an event that occurs in the object of research. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques from this study were interviews and direct documentation from KUD Manunggal in Bandar Padang Village. Data analysis used a descriptive method where this method was carried out to find out something by describing it based on existing facts. Based on research that has been done that the accounting process at KUD Manunggal is not complete and still simple. KUD Manunggal does not make journals, ledgers and trial balances. It can be concluded that the application of accounting at KUD Manunggal is not in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
