Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye and foot coordination on football shooting skills in extracurricular students of Mts Al-Hidayah, Desa Kulim Jaya Kecamatan Lubuk Batu Jaya Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu. The type of this research is multiple correlation. The sample in this study amounted to 16 people. The research instrument used was a leg muscle explosive power test, an eye and foot coordination test and a football shooting test. The data analysis technique used multiple correlation value test. Based on the results of the data analysis, it is known that (1) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power to the shooting ability of the MTs Al-Hidayah extracurricular students in Desa Kulim Jaya Kecamatan Lubuk Batu Jaya Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu of 48.72%, (2) There is a contribution of eye coordination and feet to the ability of shooting football in MTs Al-Hidayah extracurricular students in Desa Kulim Jaya Kecamatan Lubuk Batu Jaya Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu of 28.41%, (3) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power and eye and foot coordination to the football shooting ability of extracurricular students MTs Al-Hidayah in Desa Kulim Jaya Kecamatan Lubuk Batu Jaya Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu, amounting to 48.86%.
