Abstract

The purpose in this research examined to know how the mastering level of teachers role play method according to students in science development material in umayyah period in Islamic education lesson at junior high school 1 Kandis, and how was students communication level in science development material in umayyah period in Islamic education lesson at junior high school 1 Kandis. Also, was there any influence of role-play method on students communication in science development material in umayyah period in Islamic education lesson at junior high school 1 Kandis. The method in this research used quantitative research with correlational approach. The subject in this research was class VIII Students at junior high school 1 Kandis. In addition, the object in this research was influence of role-play method on students communication in science growth material in umayyah period in Islamic education lesson at junior high school 1 Kandis. The population in this research involved 115 students with 89 students as sample. Based on data analysis, it was known that the mastering level of teachers role-play method according to students at junior high school 1 Kandis classified into middle category, students’ communication level at junior high school 1 Kandis classified into middle category. Also the influence between the use of teacher role play method and students communication at junior high school 1 Kandos was in strong level (0.624 or 62.4%) in range (0.60-0.799), meanwhile others 37.6% was influenced by others factors, it meant that the hypothesis was accepted
