Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the Operational Supervision of Electronic Game Venues (Gelper) by the Pekanbaru City Civil Service Police Unit. Appraisal indicators used include establishing measurement tools or standards, taking assessment or evaluation actions, and taking corrective actions. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive survey, which prioritizes the questionnaire list as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing the empirical conditions and objectivity of the existence of objectives at the research location. The population and sample in this study were 58 people. Types and data collection techniques used consist of, primary data collected using questionnaire and interview lists and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is to use a frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique the researchers assessed and concluded that the Supervision of Electronic Game Center Operations (Gelper) by the Municipal Civil Service Police Unit in Pekanbaru was categorized as Fairly Implemented. The variable dimension sets the measurement tool or standard categorized as Fairly Performed with a percentage of 60%, the indicator of taking an evaluation or evaluation action is categorized Fairly Performed with a percentage of 60%, and taking corrective actions is categorized Fairly Performed with a percentage of 60%. The inhibiting factor is dishonesty from business actors in running their business, where the agility game business in the form of electronic games is used as a gambling arena. Then the lack of reports from the community related to the operation of the Games Center in their environment, as well as the limited human resources (Personnel) Pekanbaru Municipal Civil Service Police Unit in conducting supervision of each Operations of the Electronic Gaming Center in all corners of the City of Pekanbaru.
