Abstract

The Nominal Composition of Patani Malay in the Book of Ulama Silam Patani The composition that the author adopts in this study is the nominal composition of Patani Malay in the Book of Ulama Silam Patani. The problem of this research (1) How is the formation of the Nominal Composition of Patani Malay in the Book of Ulama Silam Patani? (2) What are the meanings contained in the Nominal Composition of the Patani Malay Language in the Book of Ulama Silam Patani's Book? This study aims to: (1) find, describe, analyze, interpret, and conclude the formation of the Patani Malay Nominal Composition in the Book of Ulama Silam Patani (2) Finding, describing, analyzing, interpreting, and concluding the meaning contained in the Malay language nominal composition. Patani in the Book of the Ulama of the Past Patani. The method used in this research is descriptive. This type of research is library research and the approach is a qualitative approach. The results of this study based on 12 forms of nominal composition which were analyzed, there were 8 forms of nominal composition formed from (noun + noun) and 4 forms of nominal composition formed from (noun + adjective). Based on the meaning, there are 3 forms of nominal composition with grammatical meaning, 6 forms of nominal composition with idiomatic meaning and 3 forms of nominal composition with metaphorical meaning. Based on the 12 data analyzed, it can be concluded that the nominal composition that is often used in Patani Malay in the Book of Ulama Silam Patani figures is that which consists of noun + noun, noun + adjective and nominal means idiomatic.
