Abstract

Research entitled Growth and Production Response of Several Varieties of Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) to Fish Waste POC. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru for 4 months starting from March to June 2021. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main growth and production of several varieties of peanuts on the administration of POC fish waste. The experimental design used was a split plot design in the form of a completely randomized design consisting of main plots and subplots. The main plots were several varieties of peanuts which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely deer, rabbit, measuring 2 and tuban varieties, while the subplots were POC fish waste which also consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 15, 30, 45 ml/l. Parameters observed were plant height, number of primary branches, relative growth rate, age of flowering, age of harvest, number of pods per plant, percentage of pithy pods, weight of wet pods per plant, weight of dry pods per plant, dry weight of seeds per plant, weight of 100 seed. The data were statistically analyzed and continued with Honest Real Weight (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of several varieties with fish waste POC significantly affected the number of pods and the percentage of pithy pods with the best variety measuring 2 and fish waste POC 45 ml/l water (V3L3). The main effect of several varieties of peanuts had a significant effect on all observation parameters with the best treatment being the 2-dose variety (V3). The main effect of fish waste POC has a significant effect on all parameters with the best treatment being given 45 ml/l (L3) of fish waste POC.
