Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main POC of banana peels and vegetable pesticides on garlic on the attack of bacterial blight on red beans. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was carried out for 4 months starting from March to July 2021. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was giving banana peel POC (P) consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0, 200, 400, 600, ml/plot and the second factor was garlic vegetable pesticide (B) which consisted of 4 levels, namely: 0, 300, 450, 600 ml in 1 liter of water. Parameters observed were plant height, red bean pests and diseases, age at which symptoms of leaf blight appeared, presentation of leaf blight. The data were analyzed statistically and presented with a significant difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results of the study concluded that the interaction of banana peel POC and garlic vegetable pesticides affected the age at which blight appeared and the presentation of blight attacks. The best treatment was a combination of 60% banana peel POC (P3) and 60% garlic vegetable pesticide (B3). The main effect of real banana peel POC on all plant parameters was 60% dose (P3). The main effect of garlic vegetable pesticides was real on all plant parameters, the best treatment was 60% (B3).
