Abstract
Value Added of Agroindustry Tempe in Sidorejo Village, Lima Puluh Kota Pekanbaru (Case Study on Pak Haji's Tempe House). Under the Guidance of Mrs. Sisca Vaulina SP, MP Tempe is a side dish that has high protein which is needed by the human body to add nutrition. This study aims to analyze 1). Characteristics of entrepreneurs and workers as well as the business profile of tempe agroindustry, 2). Production technology of tempe agroindustry, 3). Production costs, income, efficiency and added value of tempe agroindustry, 4). Channels, institutions, functions, costs, margins and marketing efficiency. This research was conducted for 6 months starting from January 2021 to June 2021. This research was conducted in Sidorejo Village, Limapuluh Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City. This research was conducted using a survey method. Respondents amounted to 1 tempe entrepreneur. and respondents were taken by census. The results showed that the entrepreneur's age was 45 years with 12 years of education, 15 years of business experience and 4 family dependents. The average age of workers is 35.71 years, with an average of 11.14 years of education, 9.43 years of work experience and an average number of dependents 2.29. The profile of Pak Haji's tempe agroindustry was established in 1965 until now. The scale of the business being carried out is a small industrial scale. The number of workers used is 7 people excluding entrepreneurs. The business capital used comes from own capital. The technology used in Pak Haji's tempe agroindustry uses simple equipment, namely: grinding machine, stove, drum, scale, filter, wood stirrer, basket and awl. The total cost of production in the tempe agroindustry is Rp. 2,507,729 /production process. The resulting product is 600 pcs tempe with a selling price of Rp. 7000/pack. The gross income per production process received by the entrepreneur is Rp. 4,200,000/production process, and the net income received by the entrepreneur is Rp. 1,692,271 /production process. The efficiency of Pak Haji's tempe agroindustry (RCR) is 1.67, which means that Pak Haji's tempeh business is efficient and feasible to develop. The added value obtained from Pak Haji's tempe agroindustry is Rp. 488 with an added value ratio of 2.32%. In marketing tempe, there are 2 marketing channels, namely marketing channel I, namely Producer-Trader-Retailer-Consumer, marketing channel II, namely Producer-Consumer. The marketing margin in marketing channel I is Rp.200/pcs and the marketing efficiency is 4.29% of the total cost per total product value. And for marketing channel II the marketing margin is IDR 7000/pack and the marketing efficiency is 4.20% of the total cost per total product value.
